TITAN CONTAINERS' CEO LAYLAND BARKER WINS THE AWARD AS OWNER MANAGER OF THE YEAR 2022 IN DENMARK

TITAN was presented with the award at the final show in Copenhagen. Layland is of course very happy with the result, and the comments about the future ambitions, 

"

Our goal is to reach the billion in revenue, and we are well on our way. My starting point is not to create growth for growth's sake, but that it must be based on the right foundation. We believe in doing more of the same.

"

Layland's daughter Anja Maria Plampin (TITAN's Self-Storage Global Brand Manager) accepted the award on his behalf. Layland himself participated via a video link from Dallas, USA. 

The year Ejerleder was held for the 19th time and this year's theme was talent and trust. As always, the team behind the organization of the event was  PwC , Nykredit, Dansk Erhverv og  Finans . Flemming Eghoff, Partner at PwC  in Hellerup explains why Layland won, 

"Layland is a visionary, passionate and generous owner-manager who has his feet firmly planted on the ground and at the same time has managed to create eye-catching financial results over the past years. The owner-manager puts action behind his words and is very specific when it comes to recognize its employees" 

Adm. director  Kim Gulstad in Kirk Kapital  sits on the board of TITAN, and as co-owner is in close cooperation with Layland. Kim Gulstad tells 

"He is a very knowledgeable and passionate owner-manager within his business. Layland Barker has been able to dispose of the entire company on many occasions, but clearly wants him and his family to remain majority shareholders. To me, this is a good expression of his commitment and going -courage, but also a great sense of responsibility towards the employees, whom he wants to thrive, says Kim Gulstad."
